Warranty Information

PCS Precision (Aust.) | ABN 69 002 543 437

Effective date

12 August 2026

Overview

PCS Precision supplies products from a range of manufacturers. Warranty periods and conditions differ between

products and manufacturers. The applicable manufacturer warranty, where provided, will generally be stated in

product documentation, quotations, invoices or other supplied information.

Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in this Warranty Information removes, limits or excludes consumer guarantees or other rights that cannot

lawfully be excluded. Manufacturer warranties are additional promises and operate alongside applicable consumer

guarantees.

Manufacturer warranty claims

Where a product is covered by a manufacturer warranty, PCS Precision may assist with the warranty process. We

may require proof of purchase, product serial number, details of the fault and reasonable access to the product for

assessment.

Exclusions

Warranty coverage may be affected where a product has been misused, operated outside manufacturer

specifications, incorrectly installed or modified, damaged through accident or unsuitable conditions, or serviced or

repaired by an unauthorised party where that caused or contributed to the problem. These examples do not override

mandatory rights.

Calibration

Calibration is a measurement service and is not generally a product warranty. Calibration results reflect the condition

and performance of equipment at the time of testing. Recommended intervals depend on the equipment, application,

usage, risk and relevant quality requirements.

Repairs and service

Repairs and service work may be subject to separate quotations, conditions and warranty periods. Where a repair is

performed under warranty or as a statutory remedy, applicable terms will be communicated to the customer.
